Hello and welcome to our website,
The Workplace Health And Safety Advice Centre is a Registered Charity* which operates on a non-profit basis and provides FREE work related health and safety advice, help and support to all who may need it. We help all sorts of organisations and employers (large or small), the self employed employees and members of the public.
We also work with the Voluntary sector and Charities numerous organisations who have not got a lot of money, time and resources to manage their health and safety effectively but of course still have a number of legal requirements to meet.
Its as simple and straightforward as that if you need any advice, help or support, then contact us it genuinely is free!
One of our key aims and objectives is to enable the people we work with to become competent and self sufficient in all of their health and safety at work related matters. To assist them to do this we also provide quality IOSH accredited and specific subject health and safety training courses at an affordable and realistic price. Our low price structure is key to our contribution to reduce the cost of establishing the very important 'competent people' to manage health and safety at work within the workplace. When we say affordable and realistic, what we really mean is at the lowest fee that we can provide training for and I can assure you, it is at the highest quality.
We also provide training away throughout the UK at venues provided by our clients. We come to provide top notch bespoke health and safety training to meet your requirements. Please contact us for more details.
Why do we do it, why do we exist? Well, we firmly believe that if the cost factor can be removed or reduced considerably, then employers and other organisations will be more likely to embrace effective health and safety at work management and thus reduce the number of work related accidents and ill health.
We are an independently funded Charity which currently meets its running costs and the provision of our free services by raising revenue through our quality health and safety training programme that I have previously referred to and other funding initiatives. Our current West Midlands training programmes can be found by clicking on the relevant link.
Please take a look around our web site and if we can be of use to you or your organisation, then please contact us.
Stay safe,
Ian Peters
