By car

Bellamy House is the old National Union of Lock and Metalworkers building and is situated right at the top of Wilkes Street, which is a short cul de sac. Enter through the front door or ring the outside bell if the door is locked for security reasons.

If you are travelling by car via the M6 motorway from the north -

The best way to reach us from the M6 motorway is to leave at junction 10 (signs for Walsall/Wolverhampton).

Go right at the island at the top of the slip road if coming from the north and move over to the left hand lane. Go over the motorway (signs for Willenhall/Dudley etc). Once over the island and past the traffic lights keep left and take the slip road after about 100 yards.

Turn right at the top of the slip road and then left at the lights, going into the middle lane. Go through the lights and keep on this road for about half a mile before turning right at the next set of non pedestrian lights (McDonalds should be in front of you). Go past McDonalds (on your left) and turn left at the traffic lights.

Keep on this road for about three quarters of a mile until you reach a small island. Go straight over the island, past Sommerfields on your left and then take next right after 200 yards into Wilkes Street.

If you are travelling by car via the M6 motorway from the south –

The best way to reach us from the M6 motorway is to leave at junction 10 (signs for Walsall/Wolverhampton).

As you travel up the motorway slip road keep in the left hand lane and filter to the left at the island at the top of the slip road if coming from the south and keep in the left hand lane. Follow the signs for Willenhall/Dudley etc) and take the slip road after about 100 yards.

Go straight over the island, past Sommerfields on your left and then take next right after 100 yards into Wilkes Street.

If you are not travelling from the M6, go to Sommerfields Supermarket in Willenhall town centre. It is located on the main through road in Willenhall and can be reached from all directions. Proceed past Sommerfields with the store on your left and then take the first right into Wilkes Street.

Please note that there are 12 car park spaces available at Bellamy House on a first come first served basis. If you have a large vehicle you may find it difficult to access the parking at the rear of the building. Additional free parking is readily accessible opposite the entrance to Wilkes Street or within 200 yards.

Please do not park on the road in Wilkes Street because there is a fairly good chance your car will be hit by a passing vehicle.

By public transport

By train –

Willenhall does not have a Railway Station which explains why no trains stop here! The three nearest stations are Birmingham New Street, Wolverhampton and Walsall.

You can catch a bus directly to Willenhall from Wolverhampton or Walsall but you may have to change if you travel by bus from Birmingham. Willenhall is about a 15 minute journey by taxi from either Wolverhampton or Walsall and about a 30/40 minute journey from New Street Station.

By bus –

You can catch a bus from most places within the Black Country to Willenhall. Wilkes Street is just up from the main town centre drop off point and is just up the way from Sommerfields supermarket on the opposite side of the road.

By air –

Somewhat surprisingly Willenhall does not have an airport, so if you are travelling by air I would suggest that you pack a parachute and ask to be dropped off over the famous ‘Lock museum'.
