Why choose to attend our Risk assessment and Risk management course?
It is quite simple – Everything that we need to do in a practical sense to meet our health and safety requirements stems from the risk assessments that we undertake and the safe systems and methods of work that we produce. If you think of risk assessment – think of it as the working out part and the method that we use to determine whether we have done enough to reduce the risk of harm to an acceptable level or not. When you think of producing a safe system of work, then besides the practical implementation, remember that we also have to record what it should contain and what we require our employees to do. This information we record in what we call our ‘Arrangements’ – policy and procedure documents that cover common health and safety topics, such as manual handling, lone working/personal safety and fire safety on an across the organisation basis or in task specific ‘Method statements’. The method statement and the arrangement documents should contain as necessary and adequate suitable and sufficient information and instruction, as well as detailing what training and supervision may be required to enable the task to be carried out safely.
Risk assessment is a mandatory requirement for all jobs. There are several different times of risk assessment and there are around ten different hazards that require a specific risk assessment. Join us to find out the full details.
