Our all-inclusive fee for our one day Personal safety and lone working risk reduction course is just £99 per person, a modest fee for quality training at an affordable price. There are no hidden costs and nothing more to pay.
Why choose to attend our Personal safety and Lone working risk reduction course?
Believe it or not, there is no specific health and safety legislation that directly covers work related personal safety and lone working. We have to take elements from the Health and Safety at Work Act and the Management at Work Regulations and other legislation and combine them into a safe system of work.
On our Personal safety and Lone working risk reduction course we explain what needs to be undertaken to comply with the employers ‘Duty of care’, the employees duty to take ‘reasonable care of themselves and others’ and other health and safety at work elements that need to fit together to produce a, so far as is reasonably practicable, suitable and sufficient safe system of work.
We will cover all aspects of personal safety both within the workplace or when employees work alone in the community. Lone working at a designated place of work, such as a factory or an office, begins when the doors are opened because someone will be the first in and concludes when the last person is safely off the premises because someone will be the last to leave.
Managing the health and safety of employees who work alone in the community requires a well thought out, workable and practical system to be in place. The system should begin and operate prior to the employee leaving their base place of work by the consideration of all the known facts and circumstances to determine initial meeting hazards and considerations. Numerous components should then be put into a safe system of work which would consider and manage a number of reasonably foreseeable hazards before concluding with a satisfactory method of ensuring that the employee is able to move on or go home safely.
